Siddur ha-Besht — the manuscript siddur in which the Baal Shem Tov prayed
Mezhibuzh, 18th c. · Chabad Library (Agudas Chasidei Chabad — Ohelei Yosef Yitzchak / Lubavitch)
The manuscript siddur, written with the kavanot of the Arizal, in which the Baal Shem Tov himself (R' Yisrael ben Eliezer, 1698–1760) prayed. His talmidim wrote their own names into its pages so that he would have them in mind during his prayers, and the volume's later history is documented across multiple Chabad publications. Held at the Chabad Library — Agudas Chasidei Chabad / Ohelei Yosef Yitzchak (Lubavitch); each spread shown here is rendered on demand from the library's catalog. A downloadable PDF facsimile is also available.
